Who is Centsable Dollar?
Centsable Dollar was founded on the premise of an old saying, “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”.
My name is Kimberly Brown and I’m the founder and creator of Centsable Dollar. I have always had a growing interest in money and finances, but my curiosity peaked during the 2008 U.S. recession when I worked for the Loss Mitigation department of a well-known bank. I assisted customers in danger of losing their homes. From my discussions with customers, I realized that some financial issues were not purely rooted in the recession itself, but some issues were rooted in a lack of financial awareness and planning. My experience drove me to complete my Master’s Degree in Business with an emphasis in Finance so that I can find those willing to learn about money, share what I have learned and help to change lives.
My mission is to educate you about money matters in order that you live a more financially satisfying life. I envision my readers passing along that knowledge and impacting generations to come.
